National Car Care Month – Give your trusty old vehicle some TLC this month- give it a good washing and vacuuming and a check up!

1st - April Fool's Day

2nd - International Children's Book Day - reread a childhood favorite!
National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day - nothing beats a good PB&J!

3rd – National Find –A-Rainbow Day – this might be a stretch in some parts of the country but… it you can’t find one dig out your crayons and color one.

4th- National Cordon Bleu Day- FYI, "Cordon bleu" means "blue ribbon" and has nothing to do with bleu cheese.
School Librarian Day- Go to the library find a new holiday book and thank your librarian!

7th - No Housework Day- This is an easy one to celebrate!

8th - Astronomy Day – Take a look at the night sky tonight and feel amazed!

10th – National Siblings Day http://siblingsday.org/ - call up your siblings today and tell them you love them!

11th - National Cheese Fondue Day – mmmmm… break out the fondue pot and try a new recipe!
Eight-Track Tape Day – are you old enough to remember 8 tracks? Think for a minute – do you remember what the first 8track, album, cassette tape or CD you ever bought was? Look it up on iTunes and relive a little.

14th - National Pecan Day- Pecans not only add fiber to your diet, they also contain iron, calcium, vitamins A, B, and C, potassium and phosphorous.
International Moment of Laughter Day - make it a point to laugh everyday!

Tell A Story Day- tell a story from your childhood today.
Childcare Professionals Day – some of the most underpaid people doing a most important job!

28th - Kiss Your Mate Day--- Kiss like you were making out in the back seat of a car! No pecks today!

29th - National Shrimp Scampi Day- mmmmmmmm….shrimp, garlic and butter …a near perfect combination!
National Dance Day- Crank up your boogie music and dance like no one is watching!!!!
Duke Ellington's Birthday-1899- Play some Duke today or turn your car radio to a jazz station and listen to it all day!

I love the no housework day, will show to DH and then see if I manage to celebrate that one LOL.

My DSis pionted out to me that April 12th is DEAR Day. Drop Everything And Read. I will definately be celebrating this one. :flower:
