What awesome lists! With all the stress at work lately, I haven't been up to much I'm afraid. But this month I need to move some flowers, plant a bush that I wintered in the garage, and get ready for mowing season. I have clay soil, and about June it's hard as cement so any digging needs to be done in the spring.

No worries about doing much ... The Minimal on YouTube used to say, "Even 5 Minutes Matter".

I do like my lists ... I like to make lists. I'm not all that good about actually doing what is on my lists!!! LOL :p

I mean, I get to it eventually .... sometimes ...

Kate, thanks for joining us. I love seeing other people's to do list, I always find something on them that I need to add to mine.
Even though we are heading into Winter here the lawn that all but died over the very hot Summer is back and will need constant mowing. Thank goodness we have a ride on mower.

This line always cracks DD and I up!. April 25th here is ANZAC Day and mid Autumn, not too hot and not too cold, just perfect.
Thanks for the laugh.

Looks like you have done well with your seasonal goals, I am plodding along, nearly there. Will be great to have all the goals finalised.

Sweetpumpkinpye, how cold are your winters?
We've had a wet spring so far, so my grass is getting tall. I hope to mow mid-week when it's dry enough. I have a rider as well.

This week is post-Easter clean up. We hosted three get togethers in two weekends since we all couldn't be toghter at one time. We have another one on Saturday night but it's for a couple of old friends we haven't seen in over a year. Weather permitting, I want to do a bit of yard work too this week.

To reduce the use of my hands on the computer, I'm going to post the small items that don't fit into my weekly and monthly to-do list. I

  • Review this weeks schedule.
  • Menu plan for Saturday.
  • Organize/clean out refrigerator.
  • Add Easter/St. Patrick Day menus/recipes to file.
  • Make a room by room list of things that need to be organized/filed/decluttered this spring.
  • Keep up with weekly and monthly work list.

I live in rural New South Wales in Australia. The Winters do not get very cold here, a top of around 14c (57.2F). I don't think we will ever get snow here. The Summer that we have just left was so hot, our hottest day was 45.9c (114.62F)!
Rain would be nice, it is very dry here.

Mary, you have been busy. I hope that you are able to get into the garden.

114 degrees?? Oh my gosh!
It was a bit of a shock, thanks goodness for air conditioning.
Everyone that I spoke to around here said it was an usually hot Summer and they are not normally like this. The average is more like 33c (91F) which seems much more pleasant.
It has forced me to change plans a little though, am hoping to have HGP completed by the end of October and then maintain over the hotter months just in case it is hot again.

Thank goodness that's not the norm. Air conditioning is a blessing for sure. Last year we had like 20 days over 90 degrees, which is a lot for northern ohio. We also had two weeks of temps in the teens this winter, so we get a wide swing. I hibernate either way, lol.

It's not the heat - it's the humidity!
We are so lucky that here is a dry heat. Same with Canberra. I cannot deal with humidity, so draining.
