This will be the second week of school with students, but the first full week since we didn't have school on Friday last week due to a state holiday. I can't believe how fast this month has gone by. Now that i'm at school, the week's are flying. I love being at school, but I feel like the house is suffering and I do miss my time at home. Since the kids have started school I can't leave them lists anymore. However, DH will be home now doing telework and will only go in a couple days a week so hopefully he will keep up on things.

I'm going to start back this week with my typical after Labor Day Weekend schedule. I haven't been on that schedule since the beginning of a March. As good ol' Ben Franklin said, "Early to bed, early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise."

Katrina - Ack! HGP?! It's here?! I really need to focus this week. I'll be doing HHP. I'll add that to my list now.
Jess - I think these are the times when we pick our battles when it comes to keeping the house orderly.
  • Clean Bathrooms.
  • Pay bills.
  • Call:
  • Weed one flower bed or trim bushes.
  • Make a grocery list.
  • Buy groceries.
  • FlyLady: Master Bedroom
    • Dust.
    • Vacuum.
    • Clean Windows.
    • Declutter room.
  • Trimester Goals - 5 days/20 minute sessions:
    • Write out Exercise plan for the week: What time of day for cardio? For weights?
    • Write up a Research plan for the week: Who am I writing about this week? What questions do I want to answer; What sources do I want to use?
To do this week:
  • Organize one section of the office
  • Declutter three cabinets in the basement.
  • Review last four months - What worked/didn’t work
  • Review calendar for upcoming four months.
  • Make sure online calendar information is transferred to the planner.
  • Plan a tentative menu for September.
  • Update Week at a Glance Planning Page
  • Set up goals for next four months: Health, Work, Personal Interests
  • Get ready for HHP.
Projects to work on as time permits:
  • Set up a Celebrate Christmas basket for myself: Christmas tea blend, scented candle, matches, hot chocolate, Christmas mug, maybe a Pepperidge Farm Christmas cookies ;-)
  • Put together Christmas cookie dry mix kits and add recipe to each kit.

I need to get started. I will be missing 2 weeks while I am on holiday so need to move if I am going to get it done in the time.
Having said that there is something comforting in getting ready for Christmas. It may be a crazy Christmas but I will be organised!
