Today is my Celebrate Me day. I'll be reflecting on my WOTY and will enjoy some self-care this evening -- bubbles in a hot jetted tub, some exceptionally nice body lotion, maybe a candle or two lit in the bathroom. Otherwise, it's hot tea with honey and lemon for me!

I printed this out to put in my notebook--always read it but never practiced it. Tis---might be the year to try it. 22nd would be mine!

I have never really followed this but would be interested to look into it more.
My day is the 30th so I don't get one in February.

I am still reading and thinking about:

January: Promises Month (Spend some time on your word for the year and other reflections for the year)

I did the quiz over on WOTY thread and I am looking at the questions posted there, also.

Also, Mel Robbins, on YouTube, had a video about looking back on 2024 so that your 2025 can be ... better.

I’ve never done the “celebrate me” day. That might be fun! Mine would be the 7th. Tuesday is my actual birthday, we have lunch planned. I already got my birthday presents:rolleyes:.

Oh fun @Myron's Mom that your birthday is almost here ... but who gave your gifts early?? :) Well, still, pamper yourself Tuesday!

I was thinking maybe on my days ... I should do a bubble bath relaxing thing ... candles and calming music. I never take a bath. I'm a shower girl. I think because I think I can't just "sit there" (wasting time) and I 'should' be doing something. Ug ... I need to remember self care IS DOING something! ;)

I feel like there was like a place on here to see if someone is having a birthday today. Like at the bottom of MHH home page?

Shower girl here too. We have a spa tub in the master bath that we never use. I don’t know why.
One gift I gave to my self. A 24 inch annalee snowman I saw at homegoods before Christmas. Was the only annalee they had. I don’t need any more annalees but he’s sooo cute. Husband bought me the hot pink mini kobalt tool box. He couldn’t wait to give it too me. I want to go to Pizza Hut for the lunch buffet and husband usually gets me a Dairy Queen icecream cake, which I love. I’m pretty easy.

My way of celebrating me is that whenever I order something from Amazon from someone else, or the house, I order myself a book from my wish list. Today I ordered the cookbook "Beyond Borscht".

I enjoyed buying myself a good fun smelling bar of soap from the Buff City Soap store yesterday!!!

Sometimes, I’m too cheap. But it felt good to do this. Then, once home from visiting a few stores with my friend yesterday, I had a nice soak in the tub with my new soap! :)

Today's my Feb. "Celebrate Me" day and I've done absolutely nothing, except nap. I see the Groundhog Day moving in my future. I do need to replace my eye shadow, so perhaps I'll do that once I'm feeling better.

Lori- Resting and taking care of you is important as well.
I just saw a quote, "Some days we move mountains and some days we move from the bed to the couch. Both are necessary."

Back on May 19th … I did buy myself some tee tree oil and lemon natural shampoo at a local little shop that is named The No Plastic store.

Oh, wait … it’s called … Life Unplastic!! :)
