Asia has a smaller number of Christians and Catholics so in many countries Christmas is more secular than religious. Most of Asia does not recognize Christmas as a public holiday so schools and banks remain open.
This is not the case for all countries.

In Korea Celebrating Christmas is a fairly new tradition. Santa wears a traditional Korean hat and his suit is blue as opposed to red.

Did you know that in Indonesia they make their Christmas trees out of chicken feathers? They also decorate their roads for the holiday with yellow coconut leaves. On Christmas Eve, cannons are let off and youngsters are known to stay up all night setting off fireworks. A full roasted pig is featured at holiday gatherings.
