We also have normal outdoor Christmas Tree's as well. The one in Tasmania is at Salamanca- a community known for its slightly 1960's/ 1970's outlook on life. Its a vibrant market/ slightly alternative area so the unusual tree fits quite well here.

Two years ago in the main street mall of the Sydney CBD we had a giant Lego Christmas Tree.

It is warm and Christmas is held outdoors in most parts of Australia.
Just imagine sitting on a beach or in a park with lit candles and a picnic singing Christmas Carols at sunset. Millions of Australians do it every year. It is lots of fun!

I cant get a picture up here but google Carols in the Domain and check the images- it will give you some idea

If I ever come to Australia I'm coming at Christmas to experience the different trees and a Beach Christmas.
