Now Rooze is the Persian New Year-the beginning of spring-a very nice holiday-my husband is from Iran-Persia-I lived there
three years and Now Rooze was always a fun holiday-we still celebrate it in our home along with all of the American holidays.
There is lots of food and the children are given gold coins-

I like the idea of 'proceed day!' I read in Family fun mag how one family has a March forth party as it is the only day that is a command! Good day to start a project I think! crazyhop

In the UK march 2nd is Mothers day! What date is it in the US? :flower:

In Germany it is always the second Sunday in May - this year the 11th of May.
And I thought we´ve got this tradition from America so I think it´s the same date.
