We will be putting up Halloween at the end of the month at work. Can’t wait to see what’s new.. try to think of that because it’s so hot today so thinking of Halloween when it will be cooler. I used to like hot weather, but I think as I get older, I can’t take it I love fall and of course that leaves us into the holidays

I am the same Faye. The older I get the more the extreme weather bothers me. I love the thought of Summer and Winter, just not the temperatures that go with it.

Halloween stuff in the shops in the UK. Bought my first pumpkin (fake obviously!) of 2024!

I've read that in NY (and probably elsewhere) some people are celebrating Summer'ween. Summer parties with a Halloween theme.

Yep - they've taken the idea from an animated show called Gravity Falls (it's on Disney+ and I would HIGHLY recommend it!). In the show which is set in a weird town where weird things happen, the locals celebrate Summerween because they love Halloween so much. There's one episode based on it.

That's where Summerween originated, and fans of the show would celebrate Summerween to remember the show. It trickled down to other Halloween lovers.
