This week will kick off with starting on Easter! Wishing you all a Blessed Easter!

Hoping this week to dig out the items for my CIJ ornament. Wrist is doing good--just can't lift alot or over do it.

What do you all have planned?

Happy Happy Crafting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll be working on a crocheted rug. I need to look for some cellophane bags to wrap the facecloths in for under the library giving tree.

HAPPY EASTER!

Thanks for the start-up, Lana.

I hope to finish the CCS reindeer for Iris' ornament. Would like to get a start at making the ornaments next week. I have two projects for Iris' birthday that I'll be working on ... a large applique iris and embellishment on a sweatshirt. Also, Julia's poncho is about ready to be blocked before I sew the pieces together (front, back, collar, borders).

Yesterday I went through the craft stuff I bought at the scrapbook fair in FL. Some pieces I can us, and some not.

My next project might be finishing up last years scrapbook as I know that I need to add some things that I didn't have access to in FL where I did the bulk of it.

Finished the ‘men’s’ rug using scrap yarn. Will take it to the library today and donate it. Have started a ‘girls’ one now

I am not a great crocheter but my friend is and taught me that stitch. It is a V stitch. See the cast on edge? Make one treble, one chain, one treble into the same space to form a V , then skip the next space and then repeat. Then on the following rows make a V into the V below, skip one and make another V.

Does that make sense at all?

In front of my computer
I alway thought treble was two yarn overs and double was one yarn over. Will go check it out. Been a long time since I crocheted.

Greetings!

I finished the CCS reindeer. Now I need to make ornaments with the 4 motifs I've stitched. I need to find/make quite a bit of studio time to complete some things.

Yes, I will have to try it. I have a LOT of scraps!
Great, sorry my explanation was not the best but thanks to @jampss for the video, that is exactly what I was taught.

What a lovely thing to do. You get the enjoyment of colouring and she gets the end result. What colour frame will you use?

Everybody is busy this week making things! So nice to use up odds and ends.
Finally got back to cutting out a purse and wallet set. Pulled weeds etc yesterday so I’m getting hand cramps, didn’t get a lot done.
Decided to try my hand at pressing flowers. Grandmas wild violets are so pretty, so I’m trying to press some for card making. Will try some lily of the valley when then start blooming.
