Hello!

I ordered the kit for the Disappearing Tote Bag from Eureka Fabrics. Thinking if it a good pattern I might try them for the 12 Days of Christmas gifts. Had another ideal but might try this.

Have been getting some material for some quilts. 2 I want to try and then I am getting 2 different BOM (block of the month) quilts.

What are you all doing this week?

Happy ------Happy-------Crafting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to look up the tote pattern. That looks like a great gift.
Finished the 2nd wallet. 2 things done on my very very long list.
Im going to try to make a leather version of the NCW this week. I bought leather scraps at Zincks the fabric outlet in Berlin last year to play with. Will see how it goes. Still learning how to play with the thread tension. Worse case it ends up in the trash.

Finished the knit socks.... boy it's taken me a LONGGGGG time to finish those.

Just took out the crochet cushion cover I had started. will work on that. Had stopped because couldn't find the same yarn. will try to do it in various yarns , will see what it looks like as I go.

I worked on my embroidery project for about an hours this morning. Enjoyed it. Hope to some more today but hope to do at least an hour a day.

Greetinggs!

Myron's Mom ~ Lovely wallets! I hope to make a small wallet for Iris for her upcoming birthday. I want to do it soon so that if it doesn't turn out well, I'll have time to do something different.

I made a couple of corner bookmarks today that turned out very nice. I might try to do a bunch for the sewing group I meet with. Someone is always coming with something to share with everyone, so I try to be on the lookout for something to do myself. Personally, I hardly ever read books any more that aren't on my Kindle. I think the bookmarks would be great for cookbooks, though.

A friend of mine made a special request for a shawl knit with a specific yarn that I've done before. I got the yarn ordered this morning.

I'm pretty well caught up with greeting cards, but I don't want to let my guard down too much. Those birthdays and anniversaries have a way of sneaking up on me. I already have two CCS motifs stitched for Mother's Day cards and another card already made up. I send them to my two daughters and one to a close friend (the one who wants the shawl as a matter of fact).

Kathy and I are going to Open Sew tomorrow, so I may be taking a couple of UFO projects. I have several to choose from. LOL

Finished the wallet! So much to learn. It didn’t turn out too bad. It does have some issues. The leather (cheap) was like working with bad fabric cut on the bias. I have lots of notes for the next one. Iam going to order some rivets with a longer stem. I’m afraid the ones I used might pop off due to such a tight fit.
I ordered some stabilizer from Joann’s. I found one that is used on leather. They also supposedly have decovil 526 in stock. I’m not holding my breath. I had some nice coupons but the last 2 times I’ve ordered they cancelled my order and didn’t tell me.

Greetings!

Myron's Mom ~ Love the wallet! I tried to make a small wallet yesterday. It turned out only okay. I still need to put snaps on it.

Lucie ~ I did a fair amount of frogging yesterday, too. I was doing machine embroidery on pillowase borders that kept messing up. Once my fault, and next the machine's mess up. I do have one pillowcase all burrito-rolled and ready to sew.

I also finished a woodland animal CCS motif. I'm doing one for each month. Six left to stitch.

Greetings!

I made some progress yesterday. Finished two monthly pillowcases for Valentin (May and June), made a Q-Snap cover and got started on a CCS watercolor flower (anemone). Hope to do more today.

I'm struggling to find the right plier to apply the snaps to the small wallet I made for Iris' birthday. I bought one from Hobby Lobby the other day that isn't the right one for the snaps I have, so I will need to return it. I ordered one on Amazon this morning, so hope it's the right one.
