Kim ~ That is such sad news. One loss is hard to bear, but three together is too much for any of us. Take a break to take care of yourself at this difficult time. No one should expect you to carry on as if nothing had happened. I hope you have a wonderful support group around you.

Thank you for the recommendation. I love the thought of a vintage color since the pattern is vintage. I wonder how it would look on embroidered white pillowcases?

If you can quickly crochet a few sample rows that you can dye and check against the pillow case. That way you will know if it works against the white before dying the whole strip of lace.

I attended three Knit/Crochet Time at my library. Nice times. I am working on a scarf for a friend who lost her lovable dear old kitty.

I made one of two March pillowcases yesterday, and hope to finish the second one today.

It looks like I should make a trip to Joanns, too, and take advantage of some coupons and sale items.

Kim, I will echo what everyone else has said. Please give your self time to grieve your losses. Your friends and family who know and love you will understand. It’s ok to do things differently and simplify. So sorry for all of your losses.
