Thanks for getting the thread started Lana!

I've been barreling through the 12 Days of Christmas with Christmas crafting. I'm nearly finished with my Christmas cards and have been working on some machine embroidery small poinsettias for embellishing my advent calendar and a few for napkin rings.

I plan to continue working on the Christmas cards and poinsettias.

Imagine my dismay when I went to microwave some soup yesterday and discovered that I don't have any bowl cozies that coordinate with my new beautiful dish set! I immediately went to my SABLE to pull out fabrics to make some. I will check at the quilt shop tomorrow when we go to Open Sew to see if they have anything else/better I'd rather use.

Since I will be away from my main crafting area for several months I am busy putting together whatever I can to take with me. I am collecting yarn, scrapbook materials and other odds and ends.

I will also need some knit or crochet item to work on during the long rides.

So, probably no actual crafting this week.

This week I will continue with my Christmas cards and knitting.

Finished the quilt and getting it washed. Found a loose stitch while I was trimming threads. I thought I’d come back to it. Now I can’t find it. It will show up sooner or later.
Will clean up the sewing room the remainder of the week. Lots of dust and such, some I’m sure from the startlink install. Get all my things back on the shelf where I can find them. I plan to tackle the to do pile or get rid of them.

It’s for me. I bought the 2 main fabrics at Joann’s 10-15 years ago. Another one of those things hanging out in my stash. I figured out why I ways so tired of working on it. After 3 purses, 2 wallets and piecing this quilt out of that fabric I was tired of looking at the fabric lol.
I wish I could give credit to the quilt designer, I just can’t come up with the name of the quilt right now.

See Lana I told you I haven't done much crafting in the past two years unless its for my kids and that's what I get to work on this week is stuff for my kids

Both Kenny and Makayla are huge Buffalo Bills fans. Kenny found Makayla the jersey she has wanted for the past two years. We have looked everywhere local and more towards Buffalo when ever someone is going that way. Even everytime we looked online this jersey in her size was sold out. Kenny even had an employee calling him everytime they got a new shipment of jerseys at Dicks and he would leave work and try to get it. He finally found one in July. He gave her the jersey and a ticket to todays game for Christmas since it was the last game in the stadium. She was like wouldn't it be amazing if he signed my jersey at this game. Both Kenny and I disagreed because she would want another jersey to wear. They called to let me know they were on their way back from the game. Mom James Cook signed my jersey and I got like 7 pictures with him and his hat. You need to make me something to put on my wall. She also promised that she would buy a new jersey herself so she can wear it.

So I need to
Finish a fleece blanket I started the day after Christmas (my brother got a new Rottie and like the last she is already taking my nieces fleece blankets that are way to big for her 15lb self

Get Makayla's pictures from tonight printed and figure out and make shadow box for this dang jersey she had to have that will now just sit on her wall

Kenny shirt from design I found while scrolling facebook (todo with the end of the stadium) Will most likely make one for Makayla, my niece Kali and her husband too

Print kids tickets and other pictures from the game for poster frame for Kenny that he asked for he has other things to go in it also from this game and others he has been to this year and put together for him

Although I have a pair of slippers on needles I pulled out yarn and cast on a hat. Hat will be a grab and go project. Slippers will be my evening project

Found a quilt pattern at the thrift shop I was going to order. Also the woven straps material I use for tote bags. Was wondering where I could find it after Joann’s closed.

Got Makayla's jersey and other stuff framed and on her wall. Also got her new jersey ordered supposed to be here today so she can wear it tomorrow.

Waiting on Kenny to bring me over the rest of the stuff he has gotten this season that he wants put in his he has to print out tickets and other pictures from games this year.

Had my brother order prints for shirts since he was putting an order in for designs he needs It ends up being 6 shirts I have to press because of course you show one person and they want it.

David called me and said he's got a new Syracuse jersey signed and wants me to frame it. Told him he is going to run out of walls and money from getting jerseys .

Really need to finish up this blanket it took it off the floor to start taking down trees and other Christmas stuff

Kenny just dropped off the rest of the stuff for his frame that he wants in it. Also pick up a package he had delivered today. I asked him if the package for Makayla was out there he said mom that isn't getting delivered until tomorrow I said no you said Saturday. He said yeah Saturday not Friday. Ok Lost a day. Now going to finish up cooking dinner and get Kenny's thing done. David took his stuff into work so Makayla will bring that home with her at 11

Got the lip ruler I ordered from Amazon and the lip wasn't on it! I checked the order and called Amazon. I will return this one and they ordered another.

Just ordered 4 books through library with quilt patterns.
