This weeks challenge will take us right up to anew month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 5 months until Christmas!!!! Give or take around 153 days----

I found an item of Aunt Imogene's that I would like to try to make. A pot holder from one cloth that makes it double thick to use. Will have to study it. Was washing up some of her new dish towels she had a few pot holders she never used and saw it.

I need to be trying to decide if I am going to try to make any gifts and if so........what?

What are your plans for this week????

HAPPY HAPPY CRAFTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have another camping trip planned this week, so it's great to have knitting!

Before we leave, I hope to finish up the July block of the Old School BOM and a CCS motif for an anniversary card; plus a little more craftermath control is in order.

The diaper bag is finished!!!! I am so happy. The clutch and changing pad are cut out and ready to sew. Will get them done tomorrow I think. I have a bunch of appointments this week so not sure if I will get to sewing the purses. They are cut out already. Why do I feel like I am running out of time ????

You are all do amazing work. Your choices of yarn and fabric are awesome.

I did get the pajama pants cut out today. Since I was “using up” fabric from mom’s stash I ended up with a pair in 2 different colors. The colors being the color of the other two. I still have smaller pieces of fabric that I can use to make pillows and ponchos for the American Girl dolls. I am going to be busy.

I've been knitting again so that is something!

However, I didn't do anything for me but I did host/teach two craft classes at the rally - one on decoupage and one on making glass magnets.

If it’s hung against the wall it should hang flat as he mention that it could be used as a hotpad or wall hanging
A option might be is to sew some good weight 100% cotton fabric to the back to give it a little more weight OR crochet another set of squares and sew onto back to make it double sided and a give you a lit more heat protection. Using a blend fabric—the fabric might melt against a hot item.

Amelia, again your fabric choices are top notch.
I have spent a lot of crafting and preparing crafts with kids and for kids. My two guys that spent the mornings with me this week crafted yesterday. We made ornaments and Christmas candles jars.
I prepared ornaments for Dgds 12 days of Christmas countdown for their stockings.. hHope to spend a good deal of time in craft room tomorrow and next week.

Thank you! I’ll confess, the fabric is all from the same fabric line. Even if I don’t use fabrics from the same line I still look at them. Gives me a jumping off point to put stuff together. And I am constantly sending off messages to my friends and cousin “does this go together?”.
