Hello!!!!!

Was so nice to see more posters this past week.

I really didn't do anything crafty. Got my swap items all ready to go. But thinking of changing the wrapping out now. LOL!!!

I have gotten a few more ideals for gifts for Christmas. I have a great niece and great nephew that I haven't did a hooded bath towel for yet. Will have a new great nephew either late Sept. or early Oct. so will do him some stuff. Maybe a taggie.

Is everybody doing their list of what they want to make for Christmas?

A couple more weeks and it will be CIJ!!!!

Happy Crafting!

Hey Lana.

1) I need to complete refinishing the old dresser into an entertainment center
2) Finish 1 square of Redwork for the quilt
3) Work on the baby quilt top
4) Start quilting the other baby quilt top that is finished.

My Christmas project list:

1) Make 50 Christmas Cards
2) 3 twin sized quilts for DGS's
3) We will have 5 new great nieces and/or nephews by Christmas and I need to make them their baby quilt.
4) Sculpt my sister a snowman on a box that she saw on Pinterest.

I am tired just looking at this list. Will keep this list updated (hopefully)

Eddie

Ontario Canada eh!
I want to finish off a special poto/scrap book for each of my kids of their life so far. This is something that was started last year but I never got a chance to finish. I have so many pictures in a box that really need to be gone through and put in these books.

Wow, you guys are busy!
I've been making embroidered postcards for our CIJ party invites. Every time I think I'm done with them, I think of someone else to add to the list! Once I finish those, I'll start on party favors.
Last year I made Christmas dinner napkins and filled them with treats and tied with a bow. In previous years I've made boxes out of Christmas paper and filled them with candies. Not sure what I will do this year, I'm open to suggestions!

I haven't done a whole lot of crafting lately. I did get my magnetic/wall scrapbook/kitchen command center thing changed over for the season. I made a Summer title banner for it, printed off about a dozen new summer/beach/vacation type photos and embellished it. That's about the only crafty thing I've done in the last few weeks since I've been focusing more on walking and getting in my 10,000 steps.

I feel terrible that I haven't contributed to this link yet as I have been busy...

Since we've been driving a lot I've been doing those ruffled knit scarves - probably have about 6 or 7 of them. If I don't sell them at a flea market they'll be holiday gifts.

Have also been making more fingerless gloves as potential gifts. I'm going to make singles out of leftover yarn and give mismatched pairs...

Finally I am about 3 baby blankets behind. One was given in April - two more babies have been born and I'm in the middle of only my second...

Lots to do...
