Will continue the bunting. Nearly have all the flags cut out, then to sew them into lengths.
Beautiful dishcloths.

Pretty dishcloths!
Will finish the purse I started last week (another practice run). I have another pattern I want to play with.
Found out I don’t have to make the garment bag for my husband for Christmas. He bought himself one. One less thing to worry about.

We're having a bit of a heat wave here. I'm able to work in the studio with the fan running, trying to stay cool and hydrated. I've finished a small, lacey knit sweater for Sonja, a chenille wall hanging (patriotic theme), one of my two quilt BOMs for June, and started on a freestanding lace machine embroidery doll hat for Julia. She wanted it "rainbow" color, so I'm making each of the 6 segments a different color.

We'll be on the road again on Thursday for a camping trip with DD and family. Probably won't have internet, so will plan to be back with you all again on July 10 or 11. Enjoy your 4th of July celebrations!

Started my friend’s Pink blanket! I started the middle with a round flower like pattern. :)

I'm going to be looking for a crochet pattern since it is easier to crochet than to knit in a car.

Lucie, how sweet!!!

I finished the purse I was working on. What a pain. It’s cute but I’d be embarrassed to give one as a gift. I have another pattern I’m going to try. If my vertigo settles down I should get it cut out today. ( vertigo and a rotary cutter are not a good mix.). If I don’t like this one everyone will be getting the Rivera bag as their gift.

This evening Jaymee came over and wanted me to cut a slit in a dress and sew it. She is going on vacation next week and Teigan and her will have pictures on the beach. Anyhoo, the dress is white and a knit so would pull and then look rippled. She said it was fine because they would be on the bench and maybe some wind so...... But I wish it would of been alittle smoother.

Then patched 2 flannel shirts for Ryan.

Nothing fun with sewing but....kids were happy to have it done.

Hi, all. I've not been doing much on the creative front. I keep a kit in my truck for when I'm waiting or riding passenger to make dishcloths so I've gotten a couple made and showed my 8 yr old how to knit. Mostly, though, it's been working on chores around here and cleaning out the garage, which had become hazardous to even enter. It needs a total overhaul and my husband has been planning to get to it but he's been gone so much, I decided to surprise him and get a jump on the mess. This is going to take a while, though.....and I HATE spiders.....

Lana- Yay on getting out the sewing machine. It doesn't need to be fancy, it's exactly what your kids needed so it was perfect.
Jampss- Your dishcloths are beautiful.
Amelia- Your bags are so impressive to me! I'm sure any of them would be appreciated. Do you have Meniere's? Vertigo is rough.
Lucie- That bunny outfit is just precious!
Katrina- You're a bunting rock star! I'll bet it feels good to see the end in sight, though.

I spent 30 minutes yesterday looking for my stocking pattern and found it.
Today I spent 2 hours choosing and cutting out 3 stockings intended for Dgds. It will be a 12 days until Christmas filled with crafts for them to make.
