We will be halfway thru June at the end of this week.

Today, I went to Hobby Lobby and got some white felt and spray for the quilt magnets that will be for 12 Days of Christmas Swap and the other item is a thimble with sewing items (I will make it into an ornament. One I have is a pin) and I am just waiting for the mini scissors to come. That is the last thing to go on so I can start them.

I also got some jelly rolls and fat quarters. I have a quilt I want to try with the jelly rolls (2 of them). It is like the jelly roll race but you cut each strip in half and then between the strips you put a diamond shape. See when I ever get to it.

Still need to decide about nephews quilt. July birthday or Christmas.

What are your plans this week?

Jaymee is still crocheting. Teigan was the one wanting to learn. She won't sit long enough. She can do a chain tho. Jaymee has made an octopus, seahorse, mouse, a couple other animals and now doing a pink flamingo.

Happy Happy Crafting!!!!

More work on the quilts. Still not happy with the brown fabrics I have. Going to go to another “local” quilt shop tomorrow to see if I can find something I’m happy with. I’ll finish up the gray blocks this afternoon. I can always start quilting the other quilts until I find the right brown for this top.

So, my husband took me to Akron to look for some brown quilt fabric. I looked at the web site and swear it said they were open today- they were closed. Double checked the web site it says they are closed today. Not sure what I was thinking. Oh well. Not a total bust, we met up with friends and had lunch at a old hang out.

Slowly working on the runner. Had to take a section apart as it just looked weird. A little knitting in and our local fabric store had quilting fabric on half price so I grabbed some that Was needed to go with some other fabric I all really ready had to make a baby quilt.

Also got a couple pattern repeats done on my top I’m knitting.

Ordered the photo insert cards for my Halloween cards since they had free shipping.
Bought a few edge to edge quilting patterns, still need to down load on a stick. They are for the Christmas quilts.
Went back to the quilt shop. They were open today lol. Bought a 1/2 yard of fabric but now that I have it home. It’s not really what I want. Thinking I should just run down to Amish country next week. There are 4 shops pretty much right on Rt 39, another 2 that are just outside of either end of Berlin and another one in Millersburg. I’m pretty sure I can find what I’m looking for down there.

Even though we returned from our camping trip on Monday, I haven't posted here as I've been working to set up a new computer. It's taking FOREVER to transfer all my data including machine embroidery files, music and pictures. In the meantime I've worked on knitting (Afghan), CCS ("Snome" motif for an ornament), machine embroidery (butterflies and hummingbirds for wall hangings), and quilting (play mat with map fabrics). Life is good.
