Well, everyone another week is here and it will take us to the middle of March! So alittle over 9 1/2 months till Christmas! I know not all the crafts we do on here are only for Christmas.

I feel so bad that I start this thread and seems I never get going on a craft!

I am still planning to do my list and as always looking for new things on blogs, magazines and taking mental notes if I see something I like.

Like now it is a nice day to accomplish some stuff out in the shed, garage, yard so will go start out there. Much rather be in here! Before long gardening will be here. YUMMY!

Hope everybody has a grest crafting week!

Jessica, did you get a chance to finish the apron?

I know some of you have stuff done and just waiting on things like lights and such.

So proud of all of you that are finishing things.

things are going slowly here. made 4 burp cloths for a gift for a baby shower, and made 4 more for my baby. :) organized some fabric and cut some for sacks for thank-you gifts for my shower hostesses. still no progress on carson's quilt but we have made progress on getting the nursery, house and car ready for him. 4 weeks left come monday. very tired, very sore.

I've almost stopped crafting! always seems as if something else is coming up :(
Next weekend we're going shopping with my mom...I want to go to the fabric store. To finish my advent calendar I'd like a ribbon that's different from what I have and some fabric paint (which I couldnt find - white- at the store here).
I also want to start the candy canes. Haven't done anything about that yet. I did draw a pattern but not sure if it'll turn out too small so I have to try it out.
I do keep on looking at blogs & take notes. Love all the great ideas out there.

One of my goals is to make a new wreath for each holiday this year. So far so good. I have some styrofoam that needs cut into an egg shape today. Hoping dh will do that part for me. Then I can start making a pastel Easter egg...pinks, yellows, lavendars, etc out of old t-shirts and scrap material.

I am still working on my mom's shawl. I think I have knitted about 16 inches over the month. It has gone from 1/3 done to about halfway done, I'd guess. I made mom a shawl for Christmas a couple of years ago. She has requested another just like it only bigger. The original one I made was just a small wrap. My thinking was since they live in Southern Florida, she might not use it too often. But, she really likes to wear it when they go on cruises because it is breezy; and when it is too cold in the AC at restaurants, etc.

Organizing my craft supplies better so that I can use what I have is my other big crafting goal. I have a big scrapbook desk (think hutch meets desk) and while there is basic organization...it seems to be the landing place for all things that don't have a home. It is NOT just me...I think everyone in the house puts things here when they don't know what else to do with it. So, it is a challenge to keep things organized and keep track of what I have, what projects I am planning, etc.

Lucie, I know how that goes. Hope you find the stuff you are looking for when you go to your moms. I was thinking the other day about your candy canes you were talking about.

Candysprinkles, wreaths for all the holidays sound nice.

Fluttering happily in the clouds!!
I am trying to cope with too many things going on in "real life" to get much time to craft. So I am concentrating on some cross-stitch, and hope to get back to knitting on DD's jumper if I can find the pattern (it has gone walkabout, somewhere in the house, but I have no idea where). I'll get out the lap blanket tonight instead if I can't find the pattern, as that needs no pattern and I can just become mindlessly lost in that.

I may even, sometime this week, have a chance to catch up on all the posts in here and my other board to find out what I've missed.

With all the sickness around here we've done no crafting in about 2 weeks. I don't think we'll get any done this week either but I really like this thread.

Brittany, Carson is going to be here before you know it.

Thanks Lana - just too manic to catch up here.

I DID get a Christmas book from Library at the weekend though, and there are lots of lovely ideas for the season and for crafts in it. So will be doing some reading by nights for the next couple of weeks. (And noting a few patterns and recipes I suspect!).

Plugging Along

I took a picture of my last three items. It's in my community album on here.

Everyone has wonderful they are doing or plan on doing.

There's a season for everything, and sometimes ... are better than other times .... for crafting.

Well, I did crochet beads onto 2 pairs of socks tonight. One of Jaymee's friends wanted me to do a couple pairs for a shower she is invited to. It wasn't on my list but I finally did some crafting!!! :) :) Pictures on blog, but I have did them several times before so I am sure you guys have seen them.

Have a baby shower for April 30th and it is a girl so will need to do burp rags, bibs, socks (again) and maybe a blanket (unless I buy clothes). Have never tried a blinkie holder so will think about that.

Cuteness! The socks are great!

I saw the word "pictures" and went strait to community album. Oops! But re-read and saw "BLOG".
