Can you believe we are entering June? The first half of the year has flown by. I need to double check anything that is on my list to make for Christmas and make it a priority. I feel like I am going to run out of time otherwise.

I wanted to do Workshop week this week but we are in the last days with mom so will probably have to leave town for a few days. So probably no crafting.

They were big back several years ago and now coming back pretty strong! Now they have giant ones, desk top ones and the regular size. The 2 I have had were concrete. Had my gma's and it finally cracked and now have Aunt Imogenes's. It is alittle bigger--neck thicker around. Wal-Mart and places have plastic ones that I have seen online. Guess you weigh them down with rock--not sure.

Knit and Natter for me today. I think I will take the appliqued tree skirt and Santa sack and work on stitching those. Not sure if it is allowed so might take crochet just in case.

This challenge I finished a hat for SIL. New pattern and gauge was correct but it turned out big. Going to try and wash in washer in Luke warm water to see as there is wool in it if it will shrink some. If so I will donate it. Otherwise I will take it apart and reuse the yarn.
Also put together a lego cactus that I received as a mother day gift.
i still have the english paper piecing project to finish.
Start another hat

Josh has always loved Legos so whenever I buy myself one I tell him that he has to build it. I have a bonsai tree that I am waiting on.

Got word yesterday that some of the crocheted blankets that we have made were donated to a local pharmacy for them to sell. The money raised will go to charity. Nice that they are being used. I was given a half finished knitted blanket and yarn yesterday, the lady cannot finish it and asked me to do it. I am not sure of the pattern so will look at that.
At knit and natter there was a little girl (7 years old) that is learning how to knit so she sat with me and did a row or two on her scarf. Very cute.

Finished sorting through all the embroidery files. I’m down to 10 binders from 17. I think I know where I can store them, need to do a little rearranging.

Will start making napkins the rest of the week. I bought those 2 red damask type fabric table cloths this spring at the thrift shop. Have to look up how to make the mitre corners since I haven’t done that in a while.

I understand The Crafty Gemini has a good tutorial for miter cornered napkins.

I think I may have - finally - found a stitch that I will use for the afghan I want to make. I have a BIG ball of leftover yarns to use so the stitch is actually less important than the color variations.

I finished sewing the babies 'patch' onto the Christmas tree skirt. Will add name and date of birth when I know those details.
