Into the last month-----My goodness how the year has flown!!!!

I am basically still with my list:

bottling vanilla

make lotion---Teigan likes to help so will be when she comes, goes fast

make sasoning salt---Like above with Teigan

finish some crochet items

glue the gnomes together

Greetings!

I got to do some pottery painting today at my DNiece’s studio. I made a cookie plate with a gnome on it that says “Gnomore Cookies”. DH made a similar one, and we plant give them to DD’s families for Christmas. I hope they look nice when fired.

So this week to work on for Christmas:

• Knit afghan for Valentin (nearly finished)
• Knit socks for DSonIL (at least started unless I have to frog them … I seem to be short one stitch)
• Christmas ornaments for DGC (8 gingerbread cookies)
• Monster Trucks quilt for Valentin
• CCS motif for Shirley’s BD card (3 days before Christmas)
• Machine embroidery snowman treat bags
• Hair bows for Julia
• FSL cardinal (for Kathy and Pete) … just need to glue pieces together

Not sure much crafting will get done, but all crafting is done for the Holidays. Might start a crocet cowl (or scarf) but no hurry.

Just popping in real quick. I've been so busy. Beyond busy.

Crafting wise I've finished oh so many projects since last posting - today I finished off 7 ornaments for teacher gifts - just transferred adhesive vinyl to them that says "The influence of a good teacher can never be erased" - then I fill the clear ornaments with pencil eraser toppers

I also finished the last of my flannel rice pack hand warmers.

Several items left to button up:

• Popsicle Stick craft
• Make "gift not included" tag - will go with batteries as gift to principal
• Decide on similar gift for assistant principal
• Make one more emb hoop ornament
• Make ornament for Mrs. Deanna
• Finish the 3 Mrs. Claus ornaments - just need to attach heads I've painted
• Decide on ornament for my sister's fiancé
• Make quick dog themed ornament for a friend's pup

Won't necessarily get ALL of this done this week - but need to get cracking!

Oh, and I glanced outside just now and IT'S SNOWING (happy dance)

AJ, I smiled when I read you snow comment!

Not much happening here except, I’m finally going to my 3 day serger class this week!!!!!!! Coming up on 2 years since it was first scheduled. I have my bag all packed with masks, purell and wipes lol. Washed out my thermos for my coffee and I’m good to go!!! Hopefully the weather will cooperate so I have a nice drive everyday.

AJ ~ One year I put batteries with the note "gift not included" in DSonIL's stocking. We open stockings first, and he kept looking for a gift that required batteries ... there wasn't one ... LOL

I should be finishing up Valentin's afghan and the purple Puzzle yarn prayer shawl today/tonight. Both are ready to be bound off. I've also got two more gingerbread ornaments finished today and may start another one soon. DH and I did some exhausting Christmas decorating today, so a break is needed. It left the house a mess, though, so need to do some pick-up.

I have 4 more gingerbread ornaments to finish up. It's nice that I can work on other things while the embroidery machine stitches. It will have to be moved, though, to make room for me to quilt the monster truck quilt.

Only one more gingerbread ornament to finish. I'm starting to knit the gussets on the socks and have started to sandwich the monster truck quilt for the actual quilting.
