Welcome to November!!!

I did not get my sewing done last week --- the baby items for the shower this coming weekend so will see if I can do this week. I am not invited to the shower and baby due in January so it isn't a have to be done now.

At the hospital I did crochet some mini blocks for the Random Acts of Kindness poem that we put out in places. Finished 1 blanket for Holy Sews and started another. Read 2 books also.

Thinking with Ryan sitting around he can paint the wooden blocks for some ornaments. Put him to work!

What are your plans for the week?

Happy Happy Crafting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lana, glad to see you post, hope Ryan is doing well.
Tried to put Rick to work, he’s bored, no luck with that lol.
Need to finalize a date to make aunts ornaments with my cousin. I’ve pulled some supplies for that.
That’s about it for crafting here, trying to tie up other holiday stuff this week.
Hope everyone has a productive week as the days to Christmas speed by.

Last night I did cut out the 7 burp rags. Will have the wash cloths to do (unless Allen does while sitting). They all can be done in white thread so that is good.

Greetings!

This week I hope to get a start on quilting the king size quilt. Should finish up the Bunny Blanket Buddies so that I can mail one to a friend for her great grandson. Also on the list are CCS chart for Julia's birthday card, knitting on a comfort shawl (during Thursday's Stitched Together meeting), sewing borders on about 5 doll quilts (for charity) ... maybe I'll have a chance to brainstorm how to finish up a fall wreath. I've stitched out 12 machine embroidery leaves for it. I might do a few more.

Today I finally finished the first sock of the bed socks I am making and am hoping to get the second one going.
I am looking for a pattern. Could you possibly share yours?

Of the different patterns I have tried I really like the Nighty Night sleep socks from the book Saltwater socks. It’s now my go to bed socks pattern. Although this time I am trying out Claudia Q sock pattern called Momo socks using sock weight yarn instead of two lace weight yarns and took the pattern to 68 stitches instead. Wanted to make sure they were a touch loose for sleepin.
