HouseElf, you are making head way too, Yeah!

I finished Jaymees other curtain this a.m..

Jaymee has a couple of friends that are expecting too. They are due about 3 weeks of each other. Jaymee got small gifts for them to give at her shower if they come (each of them has 1 already) and so for Heather they chose not to find out this time so Jay got her a duckie sleeper so I will do a duckie burp rag and bib. Cassie is having a girl so will do her a pair of pink beaded soxs and a burp rag. Jay got her a cute little red and black outfit.

I will post a picture of the curtains on FB.

I need to re-sew the Halloween costumes I tore apart to make DD one for this year. Then they will be useable for someone else.

I have Halloween material to make aprons. Need to get started on them since there are two more Holidays coming up fast. Have to get material right after each holiday (on sale) so I have them for next (2014) Christmas gifts.

Lana, love the curtains!

I was in Chicago this past weekend and haven't gotten anything else done last week. I am starting to tag my items for the upcoming craft show. I'm up to 400 items. I would like to make some infinity scarves for the show, but I'm not sure that I will get that done in time.

Have a great week!

Carol that is a lot of items but I know when stuff starts going it goes.

Are you ever on 57 (or 64) when you go back and forth to Chicago or do you fly?

Good luck getting more stuff done!

Thank you for the comment on the curtains.

Diedra, the seasonal aprons will make a nice gift for 2014. I know what you mean about the material going fast when on sale after the holidays!

Hi Guys,

Lana, no have not taken any more sewing classes, but have been a little busy of late.

I need to get my list organised for what i would like to achieve for the new year.
I really want to make a quilt for the top of my bed, something light and casual, with a vintage feel.
And to complete all of those UFO's that are lurking in the cupboard.

Lucie, that sounds cool - I'm looking forward to seeing pictures!

All of my show items are tagged. I started on infinity scarves yesterday, only finished a couple. Hopefully this will be a productive weekend. This is the first weekend in a long while with nothing on the calendar.

You know how the men put up a sign that says "gone fishing" do you think a sign that says "gone sewing" will work?

Happy weekend!!

Carol, I always tell them at work that I am going to bring my machine and sew in the back when we have down time!

I have made a burp rag, and finished 3 more scarfs, I also finished up the little sayings that I mailed with my 12 Days of Christmas swap items yesterday.

Sounds like we are all moving forward!

Lana, I haven't been to the HGTV boards in a long time. Were there a lot to sign up for the swap this year? I hope you post pictures after you open everything, its fun to see what everyone makes.

Lana, the doll in the tin sounds like a great idea.
I am having a break with the crocheting. My wrist is red and itchy, and it needs some rest.
Will be starting on baking this week.
