Happy New Week to All! :santa:

This week I have actually finished 1 present. It is so simple I probably shouldn't even count it but it is done. I made my nephew Jackson (4) 12 little sacks from old jeans to use as feed bags when playing farm. My son and nephews always loved them years ago.

I got material purchased for 2 sets of coasters, and some snowman ornaments, and wooden items are still getting painted.

Looks like several of you women have been alot of progress so lets keep pushing it!!!!

Have a GREAT crafting week --- and also with everything else!

Lana those are cute, and a cute idea.

Well this is it I need to get the banner done this week Compition is next Sunday. We will go even if Kayla can not cheer we will find out when we visit the bone specialist. She had another girl fall on her hand Wenesday in practice so off to urgent care we went along with another girl on her squad that got hurt in the same incedent. First look they said it was sprained second look on Thursday found three small fractures couldn't get us into this doctor until tomorrow so off we go. Right now she can cheer as long as no stunting so we will see tomorrow.

Now off to work on the banner

Lana great work.
KimD hope everything is ok with your daughter. My DD used to be in cheerleading too and I was always afraid she would fall (she was always the one being thrown).

Hey everyone!

Lana your feed sacks are cute. Your nephew will have fun with those I'm sure.
Kim, I hope all goes well for Kayla tomorrow.

I am working on a set of fall placemats. My original plan was to make a set for me and a set to send to my mom. Well, they have turned into a bigger project than they looked, so I think I will just be making one set for now. Each placemat is made from six different blocks, some have applique, some are crazy quilted and some have just embroidery. I am hoping to finish them this week so I can start to use them.

Thank you all. Lucie my SIL has always been the girls head coach until this year, she decided she no longer wants todo so which is ok. She never felt comfortable to put her daughter as a flyer. Two years ago in all year cheer my niece wanted to be a flyer they (sil didn't coach) they practiced and practiced basket toss with her my sil came to pick her up and they showed her and wouldn't you know that is when they dropped her.

Today is a great day. I got up and checked the caringbridge site (normally don't check until before going to bed because they always post at night). His brothers bone marrow is finally arriveing in his body. 20 mins later Randa texts me and tells me, they announced it at school this morning.

Kayla is good to go for Sunday she went back to school after this mornings appointment wearing a soft cast, she can try stunting tomorrow at practice with it on and as long as it doesn't bother her she is good to go. She was funny this morning she told the doctor he better say she can cheer, because cheer and softball are her life. He told her she could cheer but softball was out of the question right now. She told him that's ok softball was over for the year. Then she got it. The life of my 11yr old cheer and softball, oh and add band corus and football players in there and thats her life.

Didn't get that banner worked on yesturday, kids wanted to play games all day so we did and make their plans for the week. They got me running 7 days this week.

I got all the letters cut out for the banner, now working on the F for the middle of the banner. Having a hard time figureing out how to make the megaphones (thinking that I am a little challenged when it comes to easy stuff).

Picked Kenny and Makayla up from school because Kenny was going to a friends house but couldn't ride his bus because Kenny is on Safety patrol, then they called and said Kayla's jacket was done with the embrodiery so we just went and picked that up. Unfortuntly the ladie that does it wasn't there because a BIG THANK YOU is in order for her because she did more than I was charged for and her jacket looks AWSOME. She is now proudly wearing it showing everyone.

Now off to work on banner more before having to run and pick kids up at friends houses.

Good job Kim!

I am getting ready to go work on some snowman ornaments. I have to paint the faces. Will see how this goes. I have a swap that I am doing 5 ornaments for. Think I will just do one set of 5--but will see.

Didn't get the banner done today only because I ran out of glue so decided to take a nap which was good because I think that I would have fell asleep during the expidition tonight. We only have 4 cheer squads but 2.2 mins for a cheer is a long time then their dances then each girl gets announced, coaches talk and all that. But all 4 squads did great tonight. And are all ready for CheerFest/compition on Sunday. Banner will be done tomorrow. I will stop and pick up more glue on my way home from work.

Aww Kim, don't you hate it when you are geared to go and don't have something?

I painted the faces on the material for the snowmen and put the white in the eyes just a few minutes ago. Like to get those 5 done this week-end.

Lana that is how everything has been going for me lately. But thats ok it will be done for the important day TOMARROW.

I will get the banner done today. It would have been done last night except for my little angel boy Kenny decided to be a devil. He is a good kid but don't let something make him mad because everyone knows it. Last night he wanted to hang out with friends but football game wasn't home so he was mad about it. And look out. I think I fought with him for 4 hours. He got up and I asked him if he was in a better mood and he is.
