Halfway through the first "BER" month!!!!

I am still working on a couple fall items.

Will be busy with redoing laundry and a bathroom next so will cut into my crafting!

What are your plans for the week?

Just completed our first granny square in yesterday's crochet class. Our assignment for coming up is to create a Ravelry account so we can select a project for our next two classes. Most everyone wants to do a pumpkin, but we can select several projects, if we want. I may look at their snowflakes and other holiday patterns, just to see what's out there. The shop where classes are held (and their staff) contributes to the site and has many of their projects and patterns posted there.

Greetings!

Lori ~ Great class for inspiration!

I'd like to somehow come close to finishing the nutcracker table runner this week. It's for DD's October 4th birthday, and I would want to mail it quite a few days ahead, of course. We have some trips planned between now and then that will interfere with my progress. In the event I don't get it done in time, I have alternatives. One would be to take it to her when we go visit later in October as a belated BD gift. Another is to give her the ornaments I made for her as a BD present and gift the table runner for Christmas. Possibilities ...

Thanks for the yt link, I need all the help I can get.
Last of my supplies for CIJ ornaments came. I’ll pack everything in a small labeled tote until I’ll work on them in January.
The big fall tent sale is next week at the quilt shop in Shilo. I need to figure out how much fabric I need for a few quilts I want to make. I have no fall or patriotic type fabric here. That’s what I’ll focus on along with quilt backs.
I’ve been so focused on cleaning my house I still haven’t done anything crafting. I’m determined to not do any cleaning next week (unless my husband decides we should do the basement).

Thanks for the reminder. I need to find a tote for the same thing. Will look for a clear tote too. I have been switching over to clear ones when I can.

That corn is so cute! And love the colors on the poncho!
Tidied up my room a little today. Managed to get my Soprano to the shop this week. They’ve already called with an estimate, should be ready in about 10 days.
