Hello Crafty Friends!!!!

I ran across a bell ornament on you tube that I would like to try. Crochet. I started it and yarn tangled and broke. It is easy. Yarn just doesn't feel the same. Oh well.....

Finishing up a few fall crafts.

Besides doing some ornaments for family and friends---I don't think I will do anything for Christmas. Well, seasoning salts, lotion and thinking potholders for people. Will see.

What are your plans for the week?

I need t get back to what I am preparing the Christmas Countdown for DGDs I have been busy cleaning and have neglected it. There are a couple of complicated ones that I started with so I think I will save them for later and prepare the easier one. They are all popsicle ornaments going from the day after Thanksgiving to Christmas Eve.

I need to practice my crochet this week -- single, double, and triple. All the stitches taught in class came right back to me, but DD is struggling a bit. She keeps loosing her stitch on the pull through. She just needs practice and to gain her confidence (she tends to get frustrated easily and wants to give up, but when she "gets it", she will be good at it).

Plan to finish my Christmas cards this week. Doubt I’ll get Halloween and thanksgiving started.
Want to make a trip to the quilt shop in Stow, the Joann’s headquarters store and hobby lobby this week.

Greetings!

We are at the lake for the week, so I brought CCS, knitting and a little sewing I could do on my machine here if I get it out.

I want to start on another knit hat and need to do a provisional cast-on, so need to review how that's done.

On my various adventures I did very little crafting except for some knitting as we drove.

Now that I am home I hope to sort through things and see what I can work on over the next few weeks.

I have finished the back and two front panels of DD30's Boho Duster Cardigan. And ... I have sewn up one side.

I have the other side to sew and then add sleeves. Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to crochet I go!

I need to work on some more cards and some knitting. For the appliqué quilt I found that I have a background block done so if time I might try and get the appliqué pieces cut out.

Finished the stitching on my felt ornament mittens. stil need to add cuffs, buttons, ribbon, tag and when all will be finished add some candies in them and wrap.

jampss, love the colouring, I especially like the effect on the octopus.

Watched several videos on crafting with clay to make wonderful patterns in the clay.

Plans have changed for the week, doubt I’ll get to shop. I did order some fabric online, I hope it’s what I wanted for a project. If not I have a plan B.

Today I need to but some flowers for drying. I want make a resin mold of the huge hibiscus flowers. Good memory to look at during the long winters here

I made 10 sympathy cards this week and also got some knitting in.
Plan to spend some time tomorrow at the knit fair.

I use plastic totes and storage containers for all my “stuff”.

My fabric came and I love it so I ordered a little more. Some is for a project. The rest quilt backings. Didn’t get anything thing else done craft wise.
