Jess, that's great news!

All three of my women's groups are meeting this week and I'm suppose to meet my cousin for lunch too. It'll be a fun but a super busy week. I still need to read a book and write up a paper for Tuesday and Wednesday.

Mary, another busy week for you. How are you feeling after the surgery? I hope that you do not overdo things.

I woke up Sunday and realized that I slept through the night without any leg discomfort waking me. Then on Monday, I was able to keep up a fast pace walking with my youngest dd to the bus stop. It's a half mile walk down to the bus stop. I was thrilled! There is still numbness in the incision area but that radius of the numbness has slowly been decreasing. This is all good but the thought of starting over again on Monday with the lower portion of my leg is hard.

Mary that is good to hear. Have they settled on a date for the follow up procedure?
Take care and enjoy being pain free.

Yes, I go in on Monday. Next week will be another week of taking it easy.

I've been working like crazy around the house trying to get to things done ahead of time. The following week is the final full week before Christmas. For the last two years, something unexpectedly popped up that week. It threw me off track and I lost a bunch of time dealing with the issue. I'm trying to be proactive but I feel like I'm walking in molasses this week.

Mary, don't overdo things. Just concentrate on the priorities and don't worry about the small things. I know that is easier said than done.
