Will address them to “any resident” at the nursing home my fil was at, they will give to a resident who did not receive any cards.
Oh, this is such a wonderful idea.. There is a group from the local home that come to knit and natter on a Tuesday. I think there may be quite a few from the home that never venture out, have visitors or mail. I will definitely add this to my list. TFS

Katrina- I am bad about using candles but it's mostly because my Ginny is so curious and gets into everything.
The last thing I need is to have her catch on fire!
Can you imagine?! Better to be safe than sorry with a curious kitty.

NYS no longer gives out plastic shopping bags - except for take out - and paper bags cost five cents or more so the shopping bags get used on a regular basis.
We have had this program in place for 5 or 6 years here. I always have a selection of bags in the car or in my handbag. Paper bags here cost 20c so not a lot of money but a pain if you already have a ton at home or in the car.

Took a BUNCH of totes from my friend's pantry when we decluttered it and organized the cans/jars. They are in my donation box in my laundry room to go the next time I donate.
