I have a lot to catch up on before I will feel at peace. Much of my free time since October has been devoted to putting together a birthday party for my mom. At this point, beginning Monday, it looks like I have a good chance to catch up by the end of the week on writing cards, cleaning and wrapping. Now if another family situation arises, I will just close my eyes and plug my ears and say "LA! LA! LA! I can't hear you." :p :rolleyes::p

  • Stretches/Cardio
  • Clean Bathrooms.
  • Pay bills: Cell phone, Internet;
  • Correspondence: Family History group;

Mary, I hope that the party went well and that all enjoyed it.
Hopefully you can get a clear run now and get done what is on your list.

I was happy with the decluttering and cleaning that happened yesterday. Today I have completely to myself. I am staying home and working on the cleaning and organizing again. It's gotten out of hand since Thanksgiving. Just seeing some minor changes is giving me peace.

Today's big goal is to get to the FlyLady tasks. If that gets done, then it is on to the Christmas Brunch Timeline. It spells out in details the things that I need to do for the brunch. It's overwhelming to look because I am behind schedule but at the same time, EVERYTHING is on it. The list also lets family look at it and check it off when they are done.

Mary, I am glad that there is scope for the family to help and to check things off the list. I know it is how we are but please don't let things weigh you down. If there is something that is not a priority then let it go for now and revisit later if there is time.
Be kind to yourself. :)

I'm pleased with what has gotten done off this list. I did a deep clean of the rooms since I couldn't get to it as I would have liked to earlier in October and November.
