I did the underwear thing one year, my DS, then 4 at the time thought it was a hoot!

How old are your boys?

They are 4, 7 and 9.

I like the food in mini idea it's cute.

If your older boys use the computer, the elves could change the wallpaper or screen saver to a picture of them or something Christmas like.

We have fish and a dog, the elves are going to go fishing one night and dress up the dog another night.

The elves could change all the socks, so that no one has the right size ones in their drawers (might work with underwear also)

This year, my elves might build a mountain out of the dirty laundry and try to sled down it (yes, sadly, I usually have enough to do this)

They could fill the kids' jacket pockets with jingle bells, or sew a jingle bell on every one's hat.

Love the jingle bell idea b/c I LOVE to have jingle bells on stuff.
The Laundry is cute also as you can imagine w/ 5 of us we have plent of that to go around also.

Also thought of a new one today. going to get a post it note pad and leave notes all over the place. In their room, on their tv, bathroom mirror, lunch box, book bag, in school work/folders brought home.
