I'm thinking I'd like to make the bed more festive for Christmas, if that doesn't sound silly. Maybe a quilt or blanket or maybe just a cozy throw. I have a wreath and small tree with blue lights for the bedroom, so maybe a white throw would look nice? I don't think red would fit with the blue lights. Do you guys have Christmas bedding?

I changed my bedding last year so it is now plaid, cream/gray and red so it fits for Christmas (the sheets are grey with white reindeers). I do have a Christmas twin bed coverlet an aunt gave me but no twin beds... it goes well on the small sofa in my guest-office room. I also have 2 pillow covers with surprise-pockets inside I had made for my children when they were younger... I think I'll use them for the grandkids when the come :) I bought a scentsy gnome plush toy to put on my bed this year

I have flannel snowmen sheets (they have a lot of blue in them) and a snowman quilt that I made on my bed. Husband has flannel red trucks and Christmas trees sheets and a Christmas train quilt that I made on his bed. There are snow flake sheets for the guest beds. I still need to make the quilts for those beds. They go on the beds in December.

They all sound nice! I found some snowflake sheets, but they're more winter, not really Christmasy. I could buy a plain blanket and applique some reindeer and Christmas trees to it. That would be fun.

I change sheets to one with a winter or holiday theme in the same color scheme as the regular bedding, i.e. my comforter and shams are navy, so I use blue and white snowflake sheets for December, and in my guest bedroom, the comforter and shams are in a sage green and cream, so I use green and white reindeer flannel sheets. Over the years, I bought some Christmas throw pillow covers in appropriate colors and simply put pillow covers on the decorative throw pillows in each bedroom. The covers were bought off Amazon and I've re-used them for the past 8-10 years. This way, I don't have to stow extra seasonal decorator pillows, only the zip on/off covers. Just make sure you order the correct size for the pillows you have -- some are 16" others 18", and some are even 20". You can also get ones for the roll or rectangular pillows. I do the same for my Living Room and Family Room throw pillows. If I need extras for the holiday, I'll pull some of the pillows that I use on the deck in the summer. I do the same thing with the pillows in the LR and guest bedroom/den. I've found Hanukkah and winter ones. Righ now my pillows are sporting pumpkin and fall designs.

I did treat myself to 4 Hanukkah dinner plates from Sur La Table so we can eat off them during the holiday week.

Oh yes we have Christmas bedding here! My kids have their own sets which they got when they were little (they're now teenagers ) and still use the same ones! For mine and DHS bed, we have a red and tan flannel set with reindeers all over it (it looks better than described, I swear). DH chose it last year lol.

The kids also have a couple of fleecy throw blankets: Santa on one, snowman on the other. We have an old Christmas duvet that doesn't fit our new bed and we use that on one of the dogs bed's.

I love Christmas bedding! It makes a big difference. Our will be going on the bed next Friday!

We have a Christmas Quilt that my Aunt gave us several years ago. I put that in the bed during the month of December. I have a set of red sheets and a set of white sheets but I want to get a set of green sheets to go with it too.

I have some Christmas pillowcases and a doll that sits on our bed in a crochet red dress and hat that my late grandmother made.
What a special reminder of your grandmother. I have a stuffed Santa doll that my Mom made. I always sit it out somewhere.

We have Christmas themed flannel sheets. It's been so warm here, we haven't even added a blanket on the beds. It's doubtful the flannel sheets will make it out before (or perhaps even for) Christmas.

I have several flannel sheet sets for Christmas, mainly Peanuts themed. I have one generic wintery set, with evergreen sprigs and pinecones.. Would dearly love to get a set of red tartan ones, as well.
