I just picked this book up at the library as I love, love, love children's picture books.
It is an odd little book in my humble opinion. An oddly, nerdy adult looking guy's trip thru elf school is the premise of the story.
Each page is about a different holiday element the "elf" class has to learn about. Cookie decorating, tree trimming, geography etc... Each page spread does have lots of trivia about that subject on it that was interesting. The illustrations are quite lively and fun though a little on the contemporary side.
In the back of the book it lists this website to go to for additional activities (coloring page,ornaments to make and a gingerbread house cutout) to go along with the book.

I must say I don't love this book enough to buy it - even to use with our Magic Elf.
If someone else loves it please speak up! Maybe I am too much of a Christmas traditionalist to love it!
