Thanks Lucie. I would like to try Market Place to sell some furniture that we do not want to taketo the farm. A hallstand and kitchen hutch are the main pieces. I am just a little hesitant to start. I will look into it a bit more.

Just put 6 or 7 spatulas and wooden spoons in the donate pile. I don't know how many wooden spoons I think I need.
Rubbish bin night, I wonder what I can find to toss?

We're under a state-wide burn ban here. We've had an almost rainless winter.

Hi all!
I am still "eating down the freezer" and am being very mindful of food use and waste. With prices higher than ever.
Has cut down on my weekly grocery bill.

Gave a friend some car stuff- engine cleaner, oil.
He has an old jalopy truck and figured he could use it.

Lucie- Love that quote!
I like this one, too, by Oprah:

"When walking through your front door, your home should rise up to meet you."

This is in reference to why do we do things like make our bed when it's only us that sees it.
Keep things nice for your own self, comfort, and enjoyment.

I notice a completely different level of relaxation and comfort when my home is tidy and clean. And spaces are Cleared.

Yesterday when the pet sitters were over, I noticed my eyes going to the side of my bed- the side closest to the wall. It has become a catch all for stuff. Need to clean that up! I was looking at it from the pet sitter's eyes as they have never seen the room.

A recycled olive jar to Mum. She will use it for Christmas snacks for gifts.
3 old tunic tops to the donate pile.

Had brought back a hot glue gun and glue sticks from mom's over the weekend (did not want it but one of the siblings put it in MY bag because I craft - already have a glue gun). Had put it aside. DS just called asking if I could lend him a glue gun (with some glue sticks)... Perfect! He got a brand new gun and a pack of sticks :)

I organized 2 1/2 shelves in our large closet. Hung unused wreaths on the wall until they're needed..

Garbage can (small) is full.

I put two winter items in the bag that will go to the consignment shop in August when they start taking winter items. I keep the bag in my closet and add to it when I have things that are going.

BIG bag of garbage upstairs that will go out tonight along with two boxes.

Going to make labels for some of the stuff I organized.

I have a hardly used hair straightener ready to go. DD gave it to me and I have never used it. Offered it to a friend but she has one.
