I tidied the dining room hutch. Donated some serving ware that I don't use.
I have a lot of paper drinking straws that I need to decide what to do with.

Lol...I love paper drinking straws, so I often find myself with too many!

I have a ton of straws. It makes it easier to drink water from a straw when I'm driving.

I sorted through papers and got rid of a small bag of papers. I have started a new donation box too: clothes, pillow and two books so far.

I am going to use them, I just need to put them in a spot that will remind me to grab one.

When we were young we used to cut them into 6 or 7 smaller pieces and thread them onto string as a garland for the Christmas tree or around the windows.

I dropped off some dishes yesterday at the thrift shop. They were glad to take them . While I was there, I found a red chest drawers for $22 excellent condition they had just dropped it off. I was very happy. I had been looking for one .

A couple of washcloths, a hand towel, a tank top, two bags of garbage and a lot to the recycling bins.

In front of my computer
Emptied 8 boxes of paintings. Those boxes take up a lot of space so it’s nice to have them ready to leave. I might need to keep some for any painting we decide not to hang. I have one large box ready for the thrift store. Think I am up to 68 boxes out of the house so far.

Still looking for someone to take furniture. But someone will come along.

Will get DH into the garden this week while the weather is nice. There are a lot of plastic pots etc that can be recycled or sent to the church for the market day.

Finally loaded up the truck with the two cabinets from the kitchen remodel (the broken microwave cabinet and the free spice rack cabinet that was replaced with the smaller tray holder cabinet needed to compensate for the wrong measurements), miscellaneous bits of wood left over from the remodel as well as other wood that was hanging around that Vic was willing to part with, as well as broken plastic totes and mismatched lids. A small improvement in the garage, still a long way to go, but we're working on it.
