Going through that real estate process last week made me stop and think about my goals and obectives. And, even having just that one week "off" from menu planning broke my budget. I need to get back on track!!!

I need to do some heavy thinking about menu items. Dh has gotten on my nerves. It started with my corner bread board. He kept complaining I got crumbs all over it. yes, it is a bread board and I cut bread on it. So I gave the board to my son. Next it was complaints there was pieces of food in the sink strainer. So now I rinse it out into the dish pan. Now he started complaining the stove gets dirty when I cook so I am cooking without doing anything but heating on the stove and do not cut any bread and have increased our take out times. Funny he complains so much because I do clean as I cook. But I cook and he does the dishes. Even the LCs are starting to laugh about his pickiness.

Changed out a lot of last week's menu plans, in order to use up leftovers. So, this week has some repeats, simply because I didn't cook the meal last week and still have the ingredients on hand.

Feb. 25 - Mar. 3, 2024
Sunday:
lasagna, salad (leftover stuffed squash filling / spaghetti sauce with leftover stuffing)
Monday: roasted chicken, wild rice, vegetables, salad
Tuesday: pork roast, acorn squash, coleslaw
Wednesday: chicken cream of broccoli soup, salad (broccoli was on clearance, so am switching it up)
Thursday: fish, potatoes, coleslaw
Friday: cheese pizza, salad
Saturday: pot roast in crock pot with onions, potatoes, and carrots, salad
Sunday: BBQ beef sandwiches, roasted sweet potato wedges, coleslaw
