As I may have mentioned I get my gift cards using Citicard Thank You points. I have to remind myself that I should start stocking up on "giftable" ones.

I am up to $70 on shopping rewards. Our grocery store really cut back on what you get bonus points on. They now send you a list of offers for you for the week and you only get reward points on those items(6-8). Thankfully the drugstore connected to the reward card is still on almost all items.
Another chain drug store has also now offer points and I have $25 with them.

Rose, well done, $70 will make a huge difference. I am happy with my rewards so far. I am hoping that I can use them for extra Christmas items as gifts. I am looking into purchasing supermarket gift cards to be used on later shops or I will just use them to buy groceries and put the extra money away. Anything at this stage is a bonus.

Mid May, the year is certainly moving.
Time to start purchasing or saving to purchase gift cards. I do at least one GC for everyone. Mum for a mani/pedi place, the boys to the hardware store, DS to a supermarket local to him.
Time for me to start putting a little $$$ aside so tht I can buy them when the time is right.

My Panera coffee shop currently has a buy $50 in gift cards, get a $10 card for yourself. This is running thru the end of May. Not sure if it is nationwide or just my local store (a new one that opened earlier this year). If you have Panera lovers on your gift list, may want to look into it.

Just hit $150.00. I picked up a few gift cards last week and there were many bonus points so ramped up my savings.
I have $40 on another store loyalty card and will buy a GC with that to use later or to give it to DD for a gift.

Today I can start using my saved up loyalty points. I have $180 to use at one supermarket and $75 to use at another. I can use the money between now and January 31st and what is not used can roll over to next year. I would like to be savvy with how I spend it to get the most benefit.
My Christmas club becomes available today too so will have some extra money to play with there. Need to buy some GC for massages for DD and DSIL and some for a supermarket for DS. I would like to order DH a new bbq but he has not decided on one just yet.
I am looking at an outdoor setting for a shared gift for DH and I so just need to get the best price for all of those things.

For my birthday DH has given me a subscription to the next level of my supermarkets rewards. Instead of 1 point per dollar spent I get 3 points plus various other rewards. I get 10% off a grocery shop once a month and 10% of a purchase at a large department store once a month.
I am hoping that with some savvy shopping I will have at least $200 to spend for Christmas.

What a nice gift!!! Our grocery store doesn’t have that. Our points levels are by how much you spend in 6 months. We can’t roll points to the next year. Oh well.
Enjoy your shopping gift!

Thank you. There are not too many perks anymore so I am using this shop when I can to ramp up my points. May as well get the benefit while I can.

I started thinking this year about GC's. So, I'm am saving up points till the end of the year on .... bank's credit card points, Upside gas app, Swagbucks, Fetch, Ibotta, Care Credit (used on dental), and my insurance even has points!

So, around Oct/Nov I will cash out for Amazon CG's.

Our grocery store frequently has bonus points on various gift cards. Most of the time not on one’s I would buy lol. They did have x4 the points on Texas roadhouse this past week so I got one for us.

Just bought a $100 gift card that can be used at lots and lots of shops. The GC has 20x bonus points so earned 2000 points. 2000 points is only worth $10 of cash but a bonus none the less. I now have $100 to spend at Christmas.

Got DD and DS a $100 Gift card each. They can be used at multiple stores that the kids frequent so I am sure that they will be handy. I got 2000 bonus rewards points on each one so have now got $120 on my rewards card for Christmas.

Time for me to figure out what GC I need to buy for this year. I know I will need some from the hardware as I get some for each of the boys.
I did buy a few store gift cards at the beginning of the year and have stored them but just need to check again.

I have $180 on my supermarket rewards card and hope to have another $40 by Christmas that I will use for either groceries or GCs.
I have $100 on another supermarket card but might use that for GCs if I can.

Just hit $200 which will become available on December 1st. If I use it wisely my groceries for December are already paid for. I can put the money either in savings or towards gift cards.
