Gift Closet 2024

Inventoried the gift closet and I believe I am done. If I find beach towels on sale I may get one for each of the Dgds.

It has been maybe 5 or 6 years ago, I think I got everybody a beach towel. Kohl's had the large size on sale--maybe around Thanksgiving or just their clearance sale. I ordered like 13 or 15.

Ordered some dinosaurs and dinosaur candies... it's a start! And a Greek Santa to put in my tree

I just ordered 4 more Magic Slush cups for the 2 great nephews and 2 great nieces. I got a Current booklet today and they have a gas can ornament in it that has a place in it where you can roll up money in it. Get 6 ornaments for the price of 3. $5.98. Might order to have one for nephew and great niece.

Can't believe I missed the Labor Day sales. Doh! The gift closet is looking unimpressive. Will read through things here. Really want to get those stuffers done extra early this year!

Stoped at Michaels to get something my wanted, and found they had all spring items 80% off. Found some twinkle lights with lavender roses for my cousin. Will be either Easter or birthday gift.

Dh has mentioned that he would like a glass green house. Hmm not something that I would have thought of. Will do some research.

I got all the guys here body spray when BBW was 5.95 all weekend. I also got the kids a puzzle at 50% off at Hobby Lobby.

Got some bird seed for DH and Mum who both like feeding the birds. It will go with the treats that I bought earlier in the year. I have ensured that they are wrapped and stored well to avoid attack by critters.
I also got icecream cones and crushed nuts to go into an icecream pack I am doing for DD and DSil.

We have always wanted one and I think maybe next year will get one. So many to research. They will have for winter of "26 to use. That is our thought anyway!

Got Teigan a necklace today. She picked it out but I don't think she saw me put it in the cart.

More shampoo and nestles quick for my son.

Picked up a pack of six mini jams for the gift tote. Also got SIL an extension cord with four outlet. He borrowed one of ours last year to put up some outdoor decorations.
Do need to decide on gift for one of my grandchildren as I need to mail it across countr.

Still mainly empty as far as immediate family is concerned.

Josh did mention that he and Jin needed new dish towels.

I do have a number of gift cards and generic gifts that I can use for the friends we spend Christmas with every year. And there will always be food gifts.

Picked up PJ for DD and a puzzle book for DGS for Christmas.
