Our favourite department store had lots of items at greater than half price. Spoke with Mum and we ordered DB some trunks and some deodorant that the boys like. They will all go into the gift closet. The trunks were $7.20 down from $25.00 but could only get two pair.
Picked up some room spray and candle sets. 3 different sorts, rest, energy and focus. I will put them away for early in the new year birthdays. I got DB a book, I needed one more thing for him, I hope he likes it. Got some fun socks and "Where's Wally" trunks and a Christmas colouring book that will be put away.
I am looking at the pre Christmas sales to see if there is anything that may be of use for next years birthdays or even for Christmas '26. Never too early.
It's finally filling up! However I've just realized that everything we buy for Josh and Jin for their new house will have to stay in our house until they actually move in sometime next year!
DD got lego sets for both her step-children from us yay! Ordered gift for Xavier's bday... now just need his christmas gift, all the rest is $$ so I'm pretty much done as far as gifts go. and dh went to costco and brought home 5 generic gifts.. no idea who he had in mind with those... restaurant gift card, cinema tickets, wine bottles, packing tap (that's for us and ds and dd), 1 shelf unit (I'm thinking that one is for ds)... and dh just asked me if we each gave more money to our own children this year... gifting them while we are alive (so thinking $500 each - usually it's 100$ + 1 or 2 small gifts).
