I feel the same way. I would be stressed out if I waited. Plus things happen that are beyond our control (Illness, accidents etc). I’m finding I can’t always count on the supply chain either. Lastly it’s a little nicer finance wise because I’m spreading the expenses out through the year.

Our kohls had 2 fall scents of the large yankee candles for 60% off. I got them for my son. Found a nutcracker themed tea towel for him too. I did not see them at Christmas, wish I had.
Grocery store had the k cups he likes for a great price so I bought 2 boxes, Exp. date is 12/26. Hopefully will catch them again on sale later in the year.

You are off to a great start. I looked in the gift closet over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised to see that there was at least one stocking filler and one gift in each box. Just got to keep the momentum going. More importantly I have some ideas for what to buy some people which is a benefit.

Dollar General has little picture frames that are magnetic for $1.00. They have white, light blue, purple, sage green and a peach color and all are different shapes. I grabbed one thinking it was a frame for Teigan and when getting it home saw it was magnetic. Like wallet size. Think I will go back tomorrow and see what shape white was. Will be nice to throw in with gifts like for my hairdresser and few others.

Got a few stocking fillers yesterday. Some pickled onions (Use by date late 2026), some sorbolene moisturiser and a few slushie drink pouches. All will go into the gift closet. I really should not buy much more for now as I have to move it all. ;)

Husband ordered a hand held flood light for our son. Bought him a bottle of limited release wine ( the one we had at Christmas) at lunch today.
Waiting for lowes to stock the mini tool box base in lavender (for my cousin). Supposed to be available in Feb/ March, I hope.

The fabric I put in the gift tote to make DGS a pr of hot pads have been replaced with the actual pot holders. There is enough of the print fabric left to make another pair once I find some solid coordinating fabric. I am hoping there is some left over fabric from another project that will work as I used left over fabric for the coordinating fabric for the first pr. The second pr will be for us I think.

I went to Dollar General and picked up some of the silicone mini bundt pans (2 in set for $1), the whisk (mini), have a frosting knife, and the DG I was at yesterday had the oven mitts in same colors for $1.00 each and then some recipe cards. Comes in pink, lavender, red or aqua.

I might have to check out DG to see what other goodies they have. I wish the Bundt pans etc would work for the people on my list.
Went back to kohls to spend my kohls cash from the day before. Found some golf themed socks for my son. Got them for free!
