Love the yard sales, thrift shops and auctions for gifts and such.
Right now the thrift shop I frequent is packed with Christmas tins, containers, baskets and unopened packages of shredded basket filler paper. Once Oct hits the shelves will be empty of all that.

Ordered hand soaps from Bath and Bodywork’s summer sale for our son.
Bath and Body works started their semi-annual sale yesterday. Many scents 5o to 75% off including some returning favorites. I may or may not have spent way more than I planned last night but did get 2 gifts checked off my list and picked up several more to be used as stocking stuffers.
Dish soap, toilet bowl cleaner and a box of Imodium for son. Checked to see if they had any more of his shampoo since it’s still on sale but no.
Picked up my bath and body works order and found some Christmas soap on sale (they weren’t online) so got a few to go with the rest for son.

Found beef tallow spray (like Pam only beef tallow) at the hardwear store. Son will have fun with that.
I found some really nice room scents for DS. Looking at KMart they also have candles and reed diffusers to match. I wonder if I can get a whole set and add to the gift closet.
Got ds 2 sweaters (might give him one before Christmas though as it is a summer sweater).
Ordered husband a couple of DVDs while I was shopping Amazon.
Grocery store had 5x the points today so I did a little Christmas shopping. Trash bags, canned goods and a few other things for son. hoped to get some dry soup mixes and a few other things but didn’t like the out dates and items not on sale.
Got a $50 Roblbox gift card for $35 at Dollar General today. Saw it on FB earlier in the week so went in and asked and the manager didn't know she ran it and ran for $35. Jaymee ran in and got 2 then. Just the $50 cards at 15% off today.
I need to pay attention to dollar general more! I rarely go in there.

It’s Christmas in July and we’ve reached the 1/2 way point! How is everyone doing with their shopping?
I am doing not too bad. I think I have just about finished DS.
I need ideas for DD and DSonIL yet but they will let me know a little down the track.
Stocking fillers are OK, maybe 80% done but am waiting for later on for things like lollies and drinks. Use by dates are not good enough yet.
I think I’m ok. Have some things to make. Bumping in to the used by dates here too. Have a few people done. Still have plenty of time!
