Well I decided yesterday since this month has been financially unkind, that Id have a look through my christmas cupboard and see just what I had and who I was giving it to so I could get a clear idea just of what I still need to buy etc. Some are competition wins and the rest has been brought at some point.....

In my christmas cupboard was

[*]rose scented bath lotion, shower gel, bath bombs, bath petals, soaps and lotion ~ this is being made into a hamper for my step mum

[*]impulse gift set ~ this is for my sister Jess

[*]nightie ~ this is for my mother

[*]black knitted dress size 12 ~ this is for my sister Abby

[*]6 magnetic picture frames ~ going to put a picture of the kids in and give one to my dad, my mum, my nan, my sister bee, my aunt and my step nan - for my aunt and step nan this is there present.

[*]beginners cross stitch book ~ COMP WIN ~

[*]memories to treasure frame ~ COMP WIN ~

[*]2 tea towels ~ COMP WIN ~

[*]from little seeds of friendship cup ~ COMP WIN ~

[*]****tail recipe cards ~ there are for Jess too as shes a student at the minute

[*]galaxy mugs and hot chocolate ~ COMP WIN ~ these are for my grandad

[*]face mask, towel hairband, toe seperators, set ~ for my mum

[*]disney books ~ Hollys

[*]food masher pots and ice cube tray ~ COMP WIN ~ to my sister for my new niece Alba
due September 24th

[*]make your own jewellry ~ COMP WIN ~ my niece Sophia

[*]make your own secret keeper ~ COMP WIN ~ my niece Tori

[*]make your own jewellry box ~ COMP WIN ~ again Sophia to go with her jewellry

[*]face paints ~ COMP WIN ~

[*]knit your own chunky scarf ~ COMP WIN ~

[*]giant doughnut kit ~ for Tori

[*]make your own kokeshi dolls ~ COMP WIN ~

[*]make your own bag ~ COMP WIN ~

[*]christmas outfit for a 3m old ~ my soon to be born niece Alba

[*]christmas outfit for a 6m old

[*]table cloth ~ for my nan if I ever finish it!

[*] photo album ~ possibly my nan too

So with that I had
15 people to buy for
from my christmas cupboard I now have to buy for 4 and two of those only get selection boxes!

My still to buy list is
- my dad
- my brother
- my two nephews - who have selection boxes.

saved my budget a bit though which is nice so now I just have Holly (my 2 year old), Ben (my 8 year old) and my partner Owen to worry about.

That is awesome! What a great way to 'shop'! What is a selection box?

You have motivated me to go through my gift room too!

Kim, a selection box is a box with various chocolates in it that are typically given to children.

Although a certain company in the UK do a giant selection box that has 15 assorted bars in and I always get one of those for my partner at christmas.

Make sure you both report back on what you have. I love being nosey :)

I plan on working on my closet next week hopefully and will certainly report back. We just moved and I'm pretty sure there is a container of gifts down in the basement too...need to find those as well.

A selection box - I love that term! We do have boxes of candy here as well and now I might just call them a selection box. I always get one for my aunt who loves chocolates. Thanks for letting me know what it means.

Great job, Mummysnowflake! I am hoping to get downstairs into my gift totes (large rubber tubs) this weekend. I think I have my neices and nephews finished and lots of stocking stuffers, but I really need to take inventory! Thanks for the inspiration!

Good Luck all

I was surprised how much I had in there and it is such a relief to know everyone (bar my immediate kids and owen) is done.

I just need to concentrate on my nan's tablecloth that I have done hardly none of now.
