Anyone doing anything special to mark the day?

I have a small feast made for this evening to celebrate our first harvest of the year on the farm, even though we're smack dab in the middle of it. Come November we'll celebrate again after our second harvest of the year.

Hi, Georgia!

We harvested our first potatoes Monday evening. DH made roasted potatoes the next night. I suppose that's about as festive as we were about it. We'll have more to harvest over the summer.

Do you all farm or just a big garden?

What a wonderful way to celebrate. I've never heard of this before. Thank you for this post. Will need to mark my calendar for 2022 and make it a point to celebrate. Maybe do our family Thanksgiving on this date, since we're all so scattered and the Midwest weather often wreaks havoc around Thanksgiving.
