This is the week! DD helped me pull boxes down from the top shelf in the garage -- were stacked 2 high on the top shelf. Tomorrow I'll begin by rearranging furniture and then put up the tree, adding my garland and ornaments. I also need to press a couple of runners and the tablecloth, and put the pillow covers on the throw pillows. I'll also set out my angels and my late DH's Santa collection. Of course the elf will need to make an appearance, even though I no longer have "littles" around. But I always post to my nieces, so they can let them that Santa even sends an elf to check on the grown ups. For my outdoor decor, I hung my wreath and just need to set out the large lanterns on my front porch. Previously, I've used real candles, but lighting them each night and hoping the wax doesn't melt all over everything. Earlier this Fall, I bought LED candle lights that I can set on a timer. Just need to figure out how to set the timers. Ready to get this done, so I can sit back and enjoy the decor this year.
