I remember reading something from her not super long ago and I thought she said she wasn't doing any of it anymore and that the website would be coming down too so to save anything you wanted from it. The website is still up, I just checked, but I doubt any new content will be posted there after last year.

Yes, the last post on the HGP site is June of 2019. I put up the daily reminders here last year so we have them for reference but if there are any printed materials that are dated (I think those are mostly on the Countdown), I don't see them being updated for 2020.

It looks like most of the content is still available however almost anything it links to on Organized Home brings up Page Not Found :( I've definitely saved all I can think of to look back on as needed! Forms too!

There is a blank month calendar page that you can use in years to come if desired!

I've been eyeing my front porch and thinking about how we are coming up on the end of August before I know it! ;)

I think I have saved as much as I can. I am really keen to get started.

Does anyone feel strongly about who starts the weekly threads this year? I'm willing to help as needed or plan on doing with others jumping in as needed!

I'm kicking around some ideas for posting links to additional content - for example - if we are on Kitchen week maybe finding and sharing various articles or pins about kitchen organization...CEO's content is great of course - but it can be nice to read other angles - sometimes it jogs an idea you might not have had otherwise....

Still brainstorming...

I did it last year, I'm more than happy to pass the baton if you'd like to take it on.

Does anyone get excited about the start of HGP? Or is it just me?

I feel EXACTLY the same way!!! Might be goofy, but it is so true!!!

any ideals what day it starts this year?

I believe that it always starts the last Sunday in August. Does anyone know otherwise? If I'm right that would mean this year the start date is Aug 30th

Pam - I'm good either way! I can always jump in on existing threads with anything extra I find!

Go ahead, not sure what the website will have to offer but if you need to cut and paste from last year, everything is there.

I am pretty keen to get started this year. I have always done a modified version but am thinking I will follow more closely this year and see how I go.

I counted back when I was setting up my notebook and came up with August 30th for the HHP and HGP. Christmas Countdown is October 25th.

I do get excited once I have my notebook set up. I still have some fine tuning to do which will get done next week.

It's like the official start of "Christmas is Coming" in my house

I’m there with you!
I know I won’t start until after Labor Day here. That’s when I’ll take down summer and decorate for fall. I’ve been mulling over how to do things this year. Honestly I can’t wait to get started!

I've created my own hybrid version of the Holiday Grand Plan and House and Holidays over the years. Has anyone else done that? I know some of us have commented about changes we've made because we have less or more rooms in our homes than are in the plans.

I'm excited to get started this year, too. New house...new opportunities!

I'm in agreement with the excitement that the start of the cleaning plans brings. It helps me deal with the back to school blues I get.

I do the House and Holiday Plan. It seems to match up better for my lifestyle but sometimes I tap into the Holiday Grand Plan when HHP doesn't work out for me that week. Often I'll read HGP for inspiration when I need it.

I'm not quite sure how I came about this but I have HHP as starting on the first Sunday in September. However, when I look at the Celebration Week, it falls on Dec. 27th which is too late. So maybe for this year, it starts on the last Sunday of August.

Last year, it did start on September 1st, but it's usually the last Sunday in August.

The first year I did it, I didn't find it until time for the Christmas Countdown, and I've often resorted to that one when I didn't have time for either of the others. I hope to look at it today and get some things in place for my plans.

The 2020 calendars are up along with a post from Cynthia! Looks like maybe she changed her mind about making 2019 her final year.

I was so excited to see her post on the FB page.
My notebook has always been a huge binder. I'm trying to streamline it a bit. Maybe HP size. Am I computer savvy enough to print the pages to HP size? LOL
Someone posted on a Christmas FB page a gorgeous planner. It was at Amazon. I almost bought it, but didn't. Now I cannot find the durn thing.
I'm going to start early in my kitchen. (Early as in tomorrow.) It always takes me so much longer to do the kitchen.
I did a LOT of cleaning in my scrap room recently. It could use a little lovin' these days though. (It made it so much better to scrap in after it had been organized.)
