Oh, Chinese food is some of my favorite! Thanks for the link to the recipes. I took a Chinese cooking class through our community schools years ago, and here's a recipe the teacher gave us:
Sauteed Pork with Green Onions
2/3 lb. pork
Marinade:
3 cloves garlic
1 t. wine
1 T cornstarch
1 T soy sauce
1 1/2 t. sugar
Seasoning:
1 T Soy sauce
1/2 t. sugar
1 t. sesame oil
4 pieces woods ear mushrooms, soaked and shredded
3 green onions, sliced in half lengthwise and cut into 1 inch sections
3 T oil
Preparation:
marinade thinly sliced pork for 1/2 hour
Cooking:
Heat oil. Stir fry pork for 5 minutes. Drain excess iol. Add seasonings and green onions. Fry until heated and serve. You can cover with foil and keep warm for about 10 minutes before serving.

Still, I think I'll lobby for a trip to our favorite Chinese buffet. . . !
