I made the last two years the peppermint bath salts. They were super easy and made wonderful gifts. The recipe on OC called for glicerin, I didn't use it because I couldn't find it. Just got some essential oil, sea salt and espin salt. Little food coloring and you have a beautiful great smelling gift!

I think you will find it very easy!

I made the peppermint bath salts, too. My family loved them.

My personal favorite is "plumeria." It's a sweet fruit-like scent (it's actually a flower; used to grow trees full in the backyard in Hawaii -- perfect for leis), and it's not too strong (I'm really picky; allergies and all). I got my vial at AC Moore. I just toss some salts in a bowl, splash a few droplets of the plumeria in there, and for fun, add some purple coloring. It's heavenly.
