I ordered some "boutique" holiday jam to give as gifts this year.

I want to pair it with something, bread or muffins, something homemade.

I usually bake mini loaves of banana bread, pumpkin bread and cranberry bread to give away each year.

Any suggestions for something new would be great.

Good Morning Sugarplum,

I vote for all of your ideas. They all sound yummy. : )

If you make any of the bread/muffins with nuts, I would a few without. I am in no way telling you what to do, but my husband has diverticultis and nuts are one thing that is a no-no......We have gotten to where we check everything now. I bought a pump mini-loaf last weekend and they had on the label "no nuts" which was really nice of them.

idea: homemade cinnamon buttter. That is always good. Just tossing it out there.

Corn bread/muffins (either already made or a mix)

Diedre-I like that idea with the towel, cutting board, knife. I'll look around for cute things when I'm shopping next week.

Thanks for the ideas!

Robin, my mom makes an English Muffin Bread that would be a great gift with a jam type of gift.

It's actually called English Muffin Toasting bread. I'll see if I have the recipe around here somewhere.

I keep wanting to make that recipe as well. I think some mini loaves of different types of breads is good and maybe the recipes to go with them?
