It's hard to believe that we are here! I'm trying to adjust to the space that we all have to work with since everyone is home 24/7. I'm glad I had time to think about how to do Christmas if we were all home like in the spring. It's been very helpful. I'm buying things as I see them and not waiting anymore. Indoor and outdoor Christmas decorations are flying off the shelves. I went shopping at Michael's Craft Store the day after Thanksgiving. I was looking for inspiration and new ideas. The shelves in Michael's Craft store were oddly bare. I couldn't find Christmas cupcake liners, sprinkles, cookie cutters, etc. There were no ornaments. All they had were the clear DIY ornament balls. The aisle of ribbon was now half an aisle. I don't know if it was a supply chain issue or if people bought everything super early. What I saw on Friday is what it would look like a few days before Christmas but not this early. My focus this week is to get wrapping done every day until the online gifts have all arrived.

Weekly:
  • Clean Bathrooms.
  • Pay bills.
  • Make a grocery list.
  • Buy groceries.
  • HHP DONE
  • FlyLady: Living Room, Entry and Porch DONE
To do this week:
  • Finish up shopping online sales. DONE
  • Wrap gifts. DONE
  • Finish December menu planning.
  • Work on Christmas cards.
  • Make cookie dough. One batch of dough is made.
  • Add notes to 2020 Thanksgiving Prep Timeline.
  • Add notes to 2020 Christmas Tree Cutting and Decorating.

Mary, things are quite empty here too. There has been a lack of wrapping paper and the shelves at Target and KMart are quite bare. Luckily I have not needed a lot as I would have been struggling.

We don't really have any craft stores here and no discount stores either. It will be a real treat when we get back to the mainland. I can't believe that tomorrow is December already. I did find the elf and llama yesterday. I did not make masks for them, oh well. I hope they don't have Covid!
