A 2024 magazine and a monthly planner I used to get.
Took me forever to cancel that subscription once I noticed they were just piling up and not being used.

House has remained company ready and I am absolutely loving it!

38 books. Which barely put a dent in the shelves bc... homeschool family problems.
Great job! I know all too well what you mean. When we were finished with homeschooling, I had a ton of books to donate to other families. I still have a ton of picture books from teaching and homeschooling. I am not ready to get rid of them. ;)

I spent an hour sorting through piles of stuff in our basement. We have a really large table that was the catch all for the basement floods and times when I was short on time for putting things away.

I found our wedding photos at the bottom of one pile. They have probably been sitting there since our kids were walking. They use to grab at the photo table to play with the frames. :D

I will be purging the Christmas decor ... once I actually start to put it away, that is! LOL

12 mason jars for canning.
These are from my apple butter making. Some people gave me my jars back when they were done with the apple butter and some jars were not used. I am gifting them to my jam making friend.

Jan. 2026 -- I've already taken two comforters and matching shams to the thrift store, along with 3 additional throw pillow covers. And I've given away one bedside lamp. I have 3 pieces of art and a huge mirror to take to a consignment shop, when DBIL's GF has some free time. It's a shop near them and one that they frequent for donations and purchases, and she has a connection with the shop's owner. It is probably 3 1/2 x 5 feet, framed with a gold gilt frame, then a 4-to-6-inch section of dark rattan/wicker stenciled with florals and fruit, with a larger and more ornate gold gilt frame. It fits with the previous owner's original style and colors, from what I can tell. There was a lot of golds, burnt orange, and avocado tones, which leads me to believe they had originally decorated with the late 1990's Tommy Bahama large palm tree prints/colors, whereas I'm more of a coastal tone person. Anyway, this stuff has got to go! I've got no patience for it holding space in my home.

I spent another 45 minutes in the basement. I have a small grocery bag of things to donate. I also found more pictures in frames most likely from when my f-i-l's parents moved to a nursing home 18 years ago. I have to find places now for all of these photos.

I also purged my podcast listening lists and my YouTube subscription channels if I haven't used them in the last few weeks. The digital decluttering freed my mind up.
