I wish we were rewarded for recycling. We have to pay to drop it off. More people would recycle for sure.

Me, too. We don't even have recycling in our area. Not even in Monroe, which is the nearest large city.

Our garbage pickup is included in a parish wide tax. Picks up once a week (Thursday for us), general household trash. We can put large items (furniture, etc.) out, and they make note of it and send someone the next week to get it. We can't put tires, building materials, paint, etc. ever. Once a year, our town has a large dumpster for 3 weeks that we can dump in.

I didn't know about Staples. I'm not sure if there's one in Monroe or not. Best Buy will take electronics, and I hadn't thought to see if they have a rewards program. I think they have a 3 items at a time limit.

Some small jars for jam making are in the box to take to Canberra. Also a pile of magazines.

I decluttered and recycled bottles of soap, cleaning supplies, etc.

Make a postage size stamp quilt from leftovers. Of course that wouldn't take much of big pieces even if cut 10 -15 pieces!
