It's week 2 of January and I'm trying to set realistic goals for myself. My priority goals are the ones that I want to focus on for a new habit. Secondary goals are the household goals and general reminders for myself.

This upcoming week will test me as three mornings will be a bit more active with appointments and meetings before 8 am. This means that I will need to be ready for walking and journaling with no exceptions at 6:30 am. And that means a much earlier bed time at night. Alright... I'm going for it! :D

Priority
  • Daily
    • Word of Year: Release
    • Stretches/Cardio
    • Journal
    • The Artist’s Way - Week 2
  • Weekly
    • Write one mini bio
    • Answer one autobiographical question
    • One other creative activity
Secondary
  • Pay bills:
  • Correspondence: Family History group; vacation; insurance
  • Appts: Monday - Ortho; Tues. - Rehearsal; Thursday - Rehearsal;
  • Menu Planning
  • Weekly Cleaning: Vacuum, Dust, Mop, Empty trash cans, Bathrooms
  • Monthly Cleaning: Mudroom Room & Laundry area
    • Sweep
    • Dust
    • Wipe down washer and dryer
    • Empty Trash can
    • Declutter
  • Austen Book

I was just reading through the post from this time last year. THere were some great ideas on there. One that I had forgotten was from Christmas In December who mentioned writing greeting cards at the beginning of the month. I am going to try and implement this. I always seem to be waiting to the last minute to wrap birthday presents and write cards.

I want to snail mail a letter to DD29 in Vermont. Yes, we text and FB Messanger ... but we actually enjoy this 'old fashioned' correspondence. :)
Check the dates on the Prepper Food in the pantry.
Move the 2021 photos from PC to the archive hard drive.

thanks for the reminder. I have some photos on a USB that I would like to get printed. I still like to have actual photos printed every now and then.

Mary, I love your attitude. You do inspire me to go for it!!!!
Well, things didn't go as plan but I can live with it. My dds last week at home so I spent more time with them than exercising and journaling compared to the week prior. All are back in class on Tuesday.
