Lucie, I agree. Over the last few years I have really pared down what the house has in it. At one stage it was very cluttered.
I now also consider what will come into the house, do I really need it? Where will it go? It has helped limit the clutter.
Having a freer house means that I can clean easier, find things quicker and feel less stressed.

I am working on a deep clean this summer with the family. We have less going on during this time. The school year makes it difficult to purge anything but my own things. My youngest is 11 and the toys/books from her younger years need to be sorted through. My older ones need to go through their things too.

Good luck with the purge Mary. It will be great when it is all done.
